Sacred Heart Catholic School currently holds 23 Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) team state championship titles in athletics:
- 2 State Championships in MHSAA 1A Powerlifting
- 8 State Championships in MHSAA 1A/2A Tennis
- 2 State Championships in MHSAA 1A Golf
- 4 State Championships in MHSAA 1A/2A/3A Boys' Soccer
- 7 State Championships in MHSAA 1A/2A/3A Girls' Soccer
In addition, Sacred Heart students hold individual player championships in six sports: Cross Country, Golf, Powerlifting, Swim, Tennis, and Track.

Elementary AthleticsArchery
Archery is a National School Sport governed by the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP). Archery in Mississippi Schools (AIMS) is managed by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries & Parks. Mississippi Youth Archery is now in over 500 schools and in over 50 counties with more than 80,000 students participating each year. The Archery Program has been a part of SHS since 2014. Last Year, 2022-2023 Season, the SHS Team had 20 active participants. The Team competed in multiple local Meets and two State Tournaments.
Participants must be in 4th grade ~ 12th grade to compete. Interested 3rd graders may practice with the team to gain experience and knowledge.Youth Basketball
REGISTRATION FOR CYO BASKETBALL 2024 is open! There is a $2 admission fee to games. Please feel free to contact SAcred Heart Catholic School or a coach with any questions; as well as, the Office of Youth Ministry.
Youth Cheer
CYO Cheer is for 1st - 6th grade students. Each cheer team will be determined by the schools. They will correspond with the football teams(tackle and flag) put together this year, as well as, by age groups. Registration will be done and billed through FACTS. The fee will be $40. This Fee includes a cheer t-shirt that may be worn to games. If a different uniform is purchased, the parent is responsible for all costs. Youth Flag Football
Flag football is for the 1st - 4th grade students. Schools will put together a 1st-2nd grade age group, and a 3rd-4th grade age group. Any schools lacking in athletes for one of their age groups will merge with other teams so everyone interested can be included. Registration will be done and billed through FACTS. The fee will be $40. Questions about practice, football equipment, and other football specific questions should be directed to the coach at Sacred Heart Catholic School - Elementary Campus.
Tackle Football
The upcoming school year will be the second year we incorporate tackle football into CYO Sports. The schedule for tackle football will correspond with the schedule for flag football, playing on the same nights as the 1st - 4th graders playing flag football. Dates and schedules are available above, listed as Master Schedule. Dates are subjec to change.
Tackle football is for 5th- 6th graders. Each school will have their own tackle football team, and like last year for flag football, schools without enough athletes will merge to have enough students for a full team. Registration will be done and billed through FACTS. The registration fee will be $80. This fee covers the cost for the fields, the refs and jerseys.
